When will my documents be served?
Our Standard service of process (attempted within 3 days of order) is always $110. Rush orders are $140 (attempted within 2 days of order), Same day service is $210 (attempted within 1 day), and On Demand orders are $275 (attempted within 3hrs of receiving the order).
What’s included with your various service packages?
All service levels for Service of Process includes 4 attempts (per address per person or business), 50 pages printed by Serve Hound, GPS and Date & Time Stamped Proof of Service with photos of location where documents were served, and 50 miles round trip from the process server's location. Additional mileage fee of $1.00/mile may apply if the assigned server is further than 25 miles from the address location. You’ll always receive a price estimate for approval prior to service.
Do you include address verification?
Yes! All service levels include GPS address verification service. For hard to find or evasive individuals a Skip Trace service may be necessary.
What if an additional address is added?
If service is attempted at the address you provide and we can't locate the person or find they've moved, a couple scenarios can happen; a Skip Trace (additional $45) can be done to locate a new address or if you have a secondary address an additional $35 will apply for the change of address. You'll always receive notice if this happens and we'll communicate what options are available to you.
What is Skip Tracing and when is it necessary?
Skip tracing is the process of locating an individual who has gone "missing", or has skipped out on an obligation, such as a debt or court appearance. It is a method used by debt collectors, investigators, and law enforcement agencies to find individuals who have skipped town, changed their contact information, or otherwise become difficult to locate.
How long does Skip Tracing take?
Sometimes it can be immediate and other times it can take up to 12hrs to receive a report. The more information we are provided in a skip tracing case, the better. The report will be emailed to you once it is complete and we wait for you to advise how to proceed. Serve Hound works quickly and efficiently to ensure the best possible results in the shortest amount of time possible.
